Siamese cat is Siamese if you please/ if you don’t please, Siamese cat is still Siamese, and you should probably not be so racist

As a small, animal-loving child, I remember the cats Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp being kind of cool and fun, despite the fact that they are huge jerks.  They were cute and the song was super catchy and also CATS!   What DID make me uncomfortable, even as a child, was the Siamese cat from Aristocats – a film released 15 years later in 1970 but somehow even more racist. The Siamese cat in this one plays the piano with chopsticks singing “Shanghai Hong Kong Egg Fu Yung / Fortune cookie always wrong!” – And to make it more confusing, he does it in the exact same voice as Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.  Come on Disney,  what are you doing??  Don’t make Tigger say such things!
