When only the strongest cheese will do / Samurai Pizza Cats!

This is obscure I know, but once upon a time there was an incredibly goofy anime with super hero cats that also ran a pizza parlor, and whenever I see anything to do with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles it just makes me think of how I miss the Samurai Pizza Cats. Not that they really have much to do with each other, other than the taunting line in the opening Pizza Cats song “They’ve got more fur than any turtle ever had! ” which I am not really sure is any kind of an advantage. Also, the pizza cats didn’t have much fur since they were (for some reason)  little mecha creatures and not normal cats. But I guess all the better to be shot out of a giant gun that sits atop your pizzeria so you can go fight some giant monster that keeps rolling citizens up into sushi and eating them. This description doesn’t scratch the surface of how weird, dumb, and enjoyable this show was.
