A little black cat is purrfect for any occasion

It’s black cat appreciation day! Black cats are less likely to get adopted than other cats, even though they are so beautiful! Some people think that black cats are bad news because of rumors that some very important, but very stupid and hateful people started centuries ago. Those people are dead now. But for some reason their prejudice lives on. It’s funny how that generally happens with prejudice. Did I say funny? I meant soul-crushingly depressing.

The fact is, your chances are exactly the same with a black cat as with any other cat that they will bite you, vomit in your shoes, and find various ways to destroy your belongings while not giving a fluff.  The chances of them loving you wholeheartedly with abandon are about the same too, which is to say it will almost certainly happen. I sure love my little black cat, Sephiroth, even though she is also Princess Bitey, indisputably the bite-iest in the land.
