Karl Manx is catching some bourgeois z z z z ‘s

I will never, NEVER be able to properly spell “bourgeoisie” without looking it up, and checking over every letter, like, seven times. Never.

Karl Marx was a super famous philosopher; maybe you’ve heard of him. He had lots of newfangled ideas about socialism. He also had a big fuzzy beard that is really weird to try to draw on a cat.

Manx cats have a mutation that makes their tails super short and stubby. They were originally called “stubbin” – which is just adorable and I have no idea why they would change the name when it was so perfect already. “Manx” comes from the cats’ homeland: the Isle of Man, which apparently is a real place and not (as I would imagine) a fictional setting for a sci fi story about a seemingly utopian society that inevitably falls into disarray, revealing the true nature of mankind.
