Hercatles is always showing off his impressive feets.

A herCATlean task is something that requires very sure feet, I think.

This kitty is polydactyl, meaning it has more toes than normal.  Usually cats have five front toes and four back ones, but some cats have extras! Polydactyl cats are also called Hemingway cats, and you can find many extra-toed cats wandering around the author’s Florida estate to this day.  Maine Coon cats commonly have this mutation. Though they look a little funny (and by funny I mean awesome), it is perfectly healthy and even advantageous to for them to have oversized mitts.

Cat paws are super adorable, and I love to say “feets!” and touch them whenever I find one dangling from a piece of furniture. My cats do not appreciate this.
