furtographer

(noun) fur-tog-ruh-fer

  1. one who obsessively takes photos of their pets, and nothing else.

This is what my phone usually looks like: thousands of pictures of my four cats, interspersed with maybe one or two snapshots from some big event I went to with people I love. The vast majority of my gallery is pictures of cats lazing around, doing nothing. Gee, so glad I’ve memorialized all these important moments so they won’t be lost to the ages! Pictured here: on the top row Ritsuka (the only boy) is the grey one and his sister, Sephiroth, is the black one. Shisa has the full tuxedo cat mask and Phantom, her daughter, has the half mask. If you show me pictures of your kids on your phone, I will likely show you pictures of my cats in turn. I know I shouldn’t do this, but I probably will, anyway. It is the curse of the cat lady.
