It’s Columbus Day! The day that we Americans celebrate Christopher Columbus’s wacky sailing mishap because it paved the way for various European powers to colonize the Americas, helping themselves to all this land and resources that no one was even using! That’s the gist of what I remember from school, anyway.

Peeing on things is nine tenths of cat law. Human imperialism is not about peeing on things. If it was, imperialism would be very smelly, but overall much less objectionable.
