You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only nagl fhtagn
All of the things that H.P Lovecraft imagined were quite horrifying! Imagine a race of scary fish people! Imagine an ancient alien god with cephalopodic head waiting for the right time to wreak havoc on humanity! Imagine being driven to insanity, haunted by the horrible, nameless things that we were never meant to know!
Lovecraft begins The Call of Cthulhu with these lines:
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.”
If there’s anything I’ve learned from reading Lovecraft, it’s that your dreams will inevitably lead you to incurable madness. So, might as well dream big I guess?
